This large ink and oil on canvas illustrates Christ's resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:54-55), not from the garden tomb of Joseph of Arimathea but from His return from Hell, where He took back the keys to death and Hades (Revelation 1:18), redeeming the usurped power stolen by Satan and Death at the time of the Fall (Genesis 3).
