Darkness and Light are Alike to You

At times, we can feel overwhelmed by the darkness of life, feeling so lost and alone, but we must take King David’s example, who poured out his heart before the Lord, both good and bad, as in Psalm 139. He wrote, “Where can I go from Your Spirit and where can I flee from Your presence?  If I ascend into heaven, behold You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, behold You are there.” He continues…

“If I say, ‘Surely the darkness shall overtake me,’ even there night shall be light about me, indeed the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as day; the Darkness and Light are Alike to You.” -Psalm 139:12.
