When God's on Your Side

This 48 x 60 mixed-media canvas illustrated the inner battle of Romans 7-8. We battle against our fleshly desires, born to us through our nature, caused by the Fall of Man in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3. However when we are in Christ, the Holy Spirit empowers us to fight this inward battle enabling us to have the victory over the sinful nature. Therefore we can joyfully shout, "Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!" For "When God's on Your Side," you win every battle (Romans 8: 37-39).
